Dorothy & James {Charlotte, NC}

Love is such a beautiful thing…and it’s even more stunning when captured in the lens of the highly sought after photographer, Timothy Hines of Tim Hines Photography. If that name sounds familiar it’s because he was the genius behind Alissa & Duriel’s sunny Florida wedding. I’m excited to have his work on the blog again – this time to share the wedding of Dorothy & James. This couple is just too cute for words.

A while back, I was scrolling through Tim’s blog and ran across a picture of Dorothy’s big and bright smile. I stopped immediately at the picture and clicked to see more. Not surprisingly, I was floored by each and every picture – to start, just look at this shot of their venue, the Ballantyne Hotel in Charlotte, NC. There doesn’t seem to be a single cloud in the sky.

What do you think goes through a bride and groom’s heads when they are putting on those final touches for their wedding day? They’re probably thinking “…only moments away” or “I can’t wait to see her in her dress.”

I love this photo of the bride with her bridesmaids. Everyone looks sooo pretty!

…and these men are not to be overlooked either. You gentlemen are looking quite dapper!

^ Just WOW! Isn’t Dorothy stunning? James, you’re one lucky blessed man. I think he knows it too because he is all smiles in the picture below.

It seems like they never stopped smiling at each other the entire night. So happy to be in love! ♥ ♥

Dorothy is a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. so her sorors sang the DST Sweetheart Song to her during the reception.

^ Hey hey now! Looks like these two know how to par-tay! ;)

Dorothy & James, congrats on your recent nuptials. We’re very very happy for the two of you and wish you many many wonderful years together. Enjoy the married life!

If you enjoyed these images, take a visit over to Tim’s page to see more in a special slideshow – It’s so worth it! Enjoy, and I’ll catch ya’ll next time!
