Alissa & Duriel {Jacksonville, FL}

There was one challenge that came with posting Oneika & Jamar’s wedding as my first feature  – and that would be finding a wedding that was just as beautiful. I have to admit their wedding set the bar pretty high but I was oh-so-excited when Tim of Tim Hines Photography agreed to share the wedding of Alissa & Duriel.

I wasn’t sure what to love most about their beautiful day – Alissa’s dimples, the flower girl, or the use of lemons as décor! That’s right, I said lemons as wedding décor. Keep scrolling for more.

Alissa & Duriel both grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and attended Florida A&M in Tallahassee. They wed this past April at the beautiful Queen’s Harbor Yacht & Country Club.

Many brides stray away from planning an outdoor ceremony because of unpredictable weather but photos like these make it so worth it.

^ Notice the flower girl in the far left. Haha It gets better!

^Someone clearly just busted this flower girl’s bubble. So adorable! And look at those two little curls.

Great ring shot, Tim!

Check out this awesome tablescape below. The lemons dubbed as escort cards to tell guests where to be seated and if you look closely you can see a few lemon slices in the vase of the centerpiece. How unique! And the pop of yellow is just perfect!

After dinner & speeches, they moved on to some dancing and of course the infamous garter retrieval…

You can’t tell me you didn’t Laugh. Out. Loud. when you saw this pic. ^ Duriel is letting nothing come between him and that garter. Too funny!!

Alissa & Duriel – you two are quite the couple! Thanks for sharing your wedding day with us and please let your flower girl know that her photo really made our day.

If you want to see more of Alissa & Duriel, head over to Tim’s website. He has a video slideshow with some great images of the back of Alissa’s dress. I’m sure you’ll love it! Until next time…
